The Rest of 2014

JUNE 2015 - the big move to NC.  We had 2 cars FULL plus a trailer.  There was barely enough room for the children!  Good thing we dropped them off in AL because somewhere in GA, Drew's car threw a rod and punctured his oil pan.  It was a total loss....7 hours later after unloading his car and somehow finding room for it in the expedition, we finally arrived at our new home at 5:30 am....we drove all night.
The first weekend in NC, Kim and I started doing the Swansboro Downtown Market on Wednesday and Saturday, while also taking cake orders from home.

Ya know...I tried to be all "chronological" with my catch up, but my photo uploader had other plans. And since I'm already so far behind, I assuredly don't have the time the individually relocate these pictures for your viewing pleasure.  So, here ya go...in reverse order!

December:  We spent Christmas in MS and then went to AL afterwards.  It took a vehicle FULL of stuff along with an enclosed trailer to get it all to and from NC.

* Andrew's Christmas concert at school.
*Took the kids to see Frozen On Ice for Andrew's birthday.
*Kids got to go to Myrtle Beach with us for our 10th Anniversary weekend and Military Ball trip. We spent our free day at Wonder Works museum.

*Andrew's Ninja Turtle birthday party.  I was so busy with bakery stuff, that I was literally decorating this cake while people were coming in the door.
NOVEMBER: Black Friday, Frosted Cakery opened for VIP night, officially opening on Small Business Saturday!  We were overwhelmed by the support!
*Gatlinburg meet up with my family while Drew
was training in CA.
*Prep work on the store.
OCTOBER- I had an owl and a robot for Halloween!
*School Halloween party.

*We took a leap and decided to take Frosted to the next level!  We got a storefront!

*Trunk or Treat at Andrew's school.   We handed out Frosted sugar cookies!
*Now I bring you this derailment....some pictures of Aubrey girl!
*Mullet Festival-what really launched us into a storefront.  If you ever wondered what 119 dozen cupcakes look like, here ya go.  (Kim make 125 dozen at her house!)
SEPTEMBER- Frosted did a children's consignment sale and was asked to sell cupcakes at a boutique on Emerald Isle.

*Drew and I wen to the Values Voter Summit in D.C.  What an amazing weekend!  We met so many people, heard lots of amazing speakers, and I MET THE DUGGARS! (I still love them despite the scandals)

Melissa Klein of Sweet Melissa's (I'm sure you've seen her on Fox News, or at least heard her story.  She lost her bakery and was sued for not making a same sex wedding cake.)
Pastor Saeed's Wife
Jana and Jinger
Sarah Palin totally blew Drew a kiss!
Stopped to see the Atwoods!
AUGUST - Got a fancy car decal, Andrew started 2nd grade, we're baking up a storm, and I got to go to Hawaii ALONE to change over tenants in our house.  I got to see some of my favorite people and stop at all my favorite places on the island.  I still miss HI every day!

JULY - it wouldn't be a summer vacation if Kellye didn't come to town!  Also in July, my family came out to stay on the beach while Dad, Aubrey, Drew, and I went to EUROPE with my church choir in Florida! (That'll be it's very own post!)

You can't come to Swansboro and not eat at Yana's!
JUNE - we moved here just in time for a squadron Family Day at the river.

Whew!  I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted.  That brings 2014 to a close.  Next post...all that 2015 had to offer!
