The last 2.5 years...in a nutshell!

So, I'm 2.5 years behind on the blog.  I have every intention of catching up.  My first thought was to start from where I left off (Aubrey's first birthday...yikes that was a long time ago).  I dusted off my SLR camera to upload pictures to my computer and guess what?   My battery was DEAD.  No problem, I'll just charge it.  WRONG.  I can't find the charger?!  What?!  *Thanks to increasingly amazing cell phone cameras, I haven't used my nice camera since June 2014!*  I know, I know!  But please tell me I'm not alone in this!

So here we are...May 2016 and I'm trying to catch up.  But the longer I wait, the farther behind I get on the current events.  Hence...my rapid fire catch up post of the last 2.5 years.  And while I good number of our most awesome family pics are currently trapped on my camera, there are some from the good ole cell phone.

FEB 2014 - We get orders to North Carolina.  We took Andrew to see the Harlem Globetrotters.

MARCH 2014 - We head to NC for a house hunting trip and stay with my long lost BFF, Kim!  It was on this trip, that we decided to join baking forces, and thus Frosted Cakery was born.   Kim also gave Aubrey her first pony tail. :)  Also in March, we went to Albertville for Trace man's 1st Birthday.  Sissy made his cake!

APRIL 2014: Met up with one of my college suite mates to introduce our kiddos.  Started enjoying the pool before we move.

MAY 2014 - What a busy month!   This is the last month in our house.  My friend Sara came to FL with her family, so we met up.  This was the fist time I had seen her in 3 years.  (We met in HI in 2005).  I attended a Mother's Day Tea with Andrew at his school.  I went to my future sister-in-law's bachelorette party.  (made some cute cookies for the occasion).  Then it was time for their beautiful wedding!

Later in May....the movers came and packed up the house.  We celebrated Andrew's last day of 1st grade, he had a slumber party with BFF and neighbor, Jackie,  and then it was time to move....  This was the hardest move so far for our family.  Milton, FL really felt like home.  We had a GREAT neighborhood with lots of friends for Andrew and our church family was just that...FAMILY!
