Ladner Epic Road Trip 2018

This past year has been a whirlwind.  Being in one location for just a year is crazy, especially when you add a new baby to the mix.  But such is the military life.  We adjusted and settled into our new routines as a family of 5.

We loved living in the Midwest.  We especially loved Daddy’s work schedule and the fact that there were no deployments during this year at school.  Most days he was home by 3, if not earlier.  I t was a great year focused on family time.  We knew way back when we first got orders to Leavenworth, that we would take a HUGE RV trip out west in the summer of 2018.  I mean, this is as close as we’ll get to some of these places, so why not?  Well, that time has come and we’re finally on our way.  To say that we’re looking forward to this trip would be an understatement!  We’re all so excited about the adventures ahead.  We can’t wait to see what all we’ll discover on this journey.

We've come full circle in Missouri.  We're spending our last 2 nights in the same RV park where we lived our first month here, waiting to move into our house.

Please pray for us over the next month.  Pray for our safety. Pray that our RV holds up and we don’t get stranded anywhere. Pray for our health (we’ve all been sick this past week) And pray for good attitudes as we once again live in our home on wheels.

Where we’re going:

Dodge City, KS
Santa Fe, NM
Grand Canyon
Arches National Park
4 Corners Monument
Staircaise National Monument
Bryce Canyon National Park
Glacier National Park
Yellowstone National Park
Jackson Hole, WY
Badlands National Park
Mt. Rushmore
Albertville, AL
Norfolk, VA

Now this move is unique because we don't have a house in VA yet.  So, our home on wheels will be home sweet home until we find one.  #alwaysanadventure
