Amy & Tim's Shower

We drove to Mississippi this weekend for Tim and Amy's co-ed wedding shower.  Tim is Drew's best friend from high school.  They go way back!  Tim and Amy have such a romantic story.  They met in a community theatre production of Barefoot in the Park, where they played newlyweds.  That on set chemistry carried over into real life and now in 5 weeks, they'll be real life husband and wife!  How sweet is that!


The shower was held at a restaurant in Gulfport.  They had the outside patio decorated beautifully in the wedding colors; black and white.   After a yummy buffet, Tim's mom, Sandra handed out bridesmaid/groomsman gifts.  Here's Drew getting his personalized wine glass.  

 The restaurant owner handed the beautiful bride a headband to wear for the evening.  

 Then it was time for opening gifts.

 Next, it was cake time. (No, I didn't make it)  It was so yummy!

 Then, the live band started playing.  Yes, there was a band and dancing...BEST.SHOWER.EVER!  Here's Tim dancing with his baby sister.

 After a while, people from inside the restaurant trickled onto the patio and enjoyed the party.  We danced for hours!  Good times.

Tim's brother, Nick, was the photographer for the evening.  He took some good pictures of me and my handsome hubby that I can't wait to see.  


The shower was a blast.  We were glad that we could attend and spend this time with our friends.  In 5 weeks, they'll be married in true New Orleans style.  I can't wait!  It's going to be a gorgeous wedding!
