Swap Meet (again) and Waimea Bay

Today we had to hit up the Swap Meet so Kellye could buy some more last minute gift items, which I'll be mailing to Kellye as there is NO ROOM in her suitcases. I didn't need anything but for some reason I can't go to the swap meet without buying something, so I got a beautiful hand-carved, hand-painted welcome sign made out of Koa wood. (LOVE IT) It's hanging on my front door.

After the adventure to the swap meet we headed north, stopping for pineapple ice cream at the Dole Plantation. We then made our way on around to Waimea Bay. When we got there it was nice and sunny. So sunny in fact, that Andrew asked to wear my hat.
Within 5 minutes of our arrival it got really cloudy. Before we got soaked we got to see a nice rainbow.
So it wasn't the best beach day, but we made the most of it. After a few on and off sprinkles we had a slight DOWNPOUR! Kellye looked like a nun trying to stay dry.

We thought it would clear up enough to watch a beautiful sunset, but it didn't. Everyone was wet and not thrilled with our not so perfect beach day, so we headed home.
